forest

pine
trees
near
the
Jukgye-cheon
Stream,
the
Sosu-seowon
Confucian
Academy
was
built
to
pay
tribute
to
Hoeheon
An
Hyang,

famous
scholar
during
the
Joseon
Dynasty.
Sosu-seowon
Confucian
Academy
was
the
first
Confucian
Academy
in
the
nation,
and
it
was
also
the
first
occasion
of
the
king
granting
a
tablet
inscribed
with
its
name.
